Description:Lead the Department of Defense activities for Strategic Planning team and support related Program, Segment and Functional Strategies within the Strategic Studies Group.
Develop and deploy strategy and advocacy material for Lockheed Martin (LM) Aeronautics to include written and briefing products.
Develop and/or support integrated product strategies and narratives for domestic and international programs.
Develop and maintain key relationships with US services, OSD, think tanks and international customers/organizations.
Formulate market development strategies.
Identify, analyze and develop requirements for LM Aeronautics platforms. Lead or support program strategy studies and guide analysis efforts.
This position will require occasional travel both domestically and internationally.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelors degree or above
Minimum of 12 years of military experience or experience operating within the defense industry.
Experience professionally interfacing with and providing briefings to government officials, Department of Defense and/or industry leaders.
Experience with engineering principles and processes or experience with operations analysis.
Experience within the international military arena.
Ability to think strategically and should have working knowledge of DoD operations.
Military background should include operational aviation background, and experience in joint and coalition operations.
Military background USAF Weapons School/Top Gun graduates desired.
Advacned degrees in strategic studies, operations analysis or MBA desired.
Skilled in research and at presenting compelling thoughts in writing and in PowerPoint presentations.
