This position is for a Sr. Financial Analyst, located in Tucson, Arizona providing support to the Raytheon Missile Systems Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality (OSQ) Finance organization performing financial analysis and special assignments. The particular role is a key position within the Finance Supply Chain team of the OSQ organization.

The role is a key position within a team of Finance analysts and requires the ability to be self-sufficient as well as work well in a teaming environment. The position requires flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with often changing priorities. The position requires strong analytical interest, process improvement driven, solution focused. A successful candidate will need to have strong communication skills and passion to improve the financials of the organization.

Responsibilities Include:

Material and Labor forecasting and analysis and actionable recommendations
Monthly analysis, research and reporting to the Supply Chain Vice President and Directors on ad hoc requests
Maintain associated tools and identify and implement tool and/or process improvements related to the collection of material and labor performance.
Understand cost accumulation methods for direct labor including discrete charging and allocation pool charging.
Supporting other team members in technical and analytical financial growth
Identify, support and implement process improvements
Provide cost reduction ideas and project support
Ad-hoc analysis, research and training

Minimum Required Skills:

Undergraduate degree in the field of Business, Finance, Management, Economics, or Math and4 years of progressively increased experience and responsibility in a field of business, finance, or management. Or a related Graduate degree plus 2 years of experience in a field of business, finance, or management.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment that includes multiple organizations (i.e. both financial and functional personnel).
Advanced experience and expertise in the use of Microsoft Office tools (with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
Strong focus on process improvement and advanced problem solving skills.
Experience in an independent role tasked to develop, update, and status financial and performance metrics and analysis driven reports.
Experience in understanding the details of cost allocation over bases or amongst organizations or products.
Proven track record of customer focus.

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience in transforming customer requests from data to information.
Ability to lead other analysts in a results oriented environment to develop solutions for complex problems that will gain desired outcomes.
Ability to teach advanced financial and planning skills to financial analysts.
APEX/PRISM and EAC development experience
