Description:Direct reporting position to the Skunk Works® Director of Technology Roadmaps, responsible for assisting in the execution of Technology Roadmaps business commitments, as well as taking on special projects and stretch assignments as appropriate. This position oversees and coordinates Technology Roadmaps New Business Funds (NBF) and Contract R&D (CRAD) funds. Responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of the day to day operation of a $300M+ portfolio of projects. Candidate must be a self-starter, with experience in technology transition or new product development. This individual must be very motivated and detail oriented, with experience in either technology R&D, product R&D, or financial planning and control. Will work closely with Tech Roadmap portfolio senior leadership, Business Development, NBF and CRAD Management, and other ADP directorates during the annual NBF planning cycle to ensure that the right technologies will be developed according to the strategic direction of the company. He or she will also assist in setting investment strategy and will make recommendations to leadership for project prioritization and advise senior leadership on project status and effectiveness. The selected candidate will also train principal investigators as required to use project management tools and NBF tracking tools to improve execution across the Technology Roadmap organization. Clear communication skills are an absolute necessity. Candidate should have excellent presentation skills and be able to clearly summarize information to a variety of audiences. Will ensure the flow of information, including the creation, compilation and editing of weekly situation reports. Will help plan and coordinate internal and external meetings and events. Travel of up to one week a month may be required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, creating databases and effective presentation development. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and special program clearances. For this particular position, an active DOD Secret security clearance with a current background investigation is required. Must be a US Citizen.

-Bachelor’s Degree or above
-Experience with project execution and planning
-Experience in at least one of the following areas: technology R&D, product R&D, or financial planning and control
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical field
- Experience with cost & schedule and technical data
- Experience cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and consultants
- Intimate knowledge of ADP's roles and responsibilities
- Reviewing status of projects and budgets; managing schedules and preparing status reports
- Detail orientation, proven track record as self-starter with the ability to manage multiple complex projects to completion without appreciable direction and under competing priorities and tight deadline
