Location: Leeds
We have a newly created role for an Accounts Clerk to come and join our team in Leeds. You will report directly into the Business Operations Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration and finance experience to work in a Global Organisation where there is real opportunity to develop and progress over time, you will receive full training and support.
This is a pivotal support role based in Leeds working closely with Business Space Regions team in Leeds. You will be providing support to operational Finance activity, alongside assisting the profitable growth and development of the division and its overall performance with respect to the following:
• Operational finance administration
• Supplier & Client interactions
• Compliance administration
• Business Support
Your core responsibilities will be:
Accounts Payable – you will be a point of contact for the Business & the FSC for accounts payable queries, review and code supplier invoices where appropriate
Expenses - Ensuring expenses correctly coded, and any trouble shooting queries
Client Billing - Assisting the business with administration tasks for billing, you will have a basic understanding of VAT and how it affects business operations (invoicing, payments, etc.) You will provide support in the month-end process (timely reconciliations, investigations etc), reconciliations (Disbursement & Sub Consultant Provision) and other finance queries.
Debt Management – Consulting with the Business, Finance department of clients, as needed. Managing day to day processing of accounts and minimizing bad debt provisions ensuring internal deadlines are met, as well as scheduling Debtors & Credit Control.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has a desire to progress and develop in their career. You will be very well organized and have good time management skills with the commitment and enthusiasm to deliver on deadlines and having exceptionally high attention to detail.
Broad all-round systems and PC skills with experience in Excel and accounting software. Advanced technical skills using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
