Maintains data files and control procedures for a complex system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe. Responsible for system security and data integrity. Assigns passwords and monitors use of resources, backs up files as required and responds to management requests for information. Provides technical guidance to lesser-experienced systems administrators. Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
As a Senior Systems Administrator you will perform system administration functions for Windows based machines and provide system support for a large scale network. Must Be a Self-starter with a background in Hardware, Networking, Windows systems administration and configuration.


Responsibilities:
Windows workstation Support
Desktop services support in multiple buildings
Hardware installations/modifications
Thin client installations/modifications
Troubleshoot networking problems and setting different VLANs on switch ports
Improve lab processes
Work with tier 1-tier 3 team members to manage all labs
Support upgrading/downgrading system firmware/operating system version and installing applications

Create and modify VMs
Linux/Unix
ESX
VMWare
Computer Hardware knowledge (prefer A+ certified)
Thin client knowledge

5+ years related experience
