SAIC is looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to work on a new development project with our customer at the USAF Space and Missile Center.

Teams are small and move fast using test driven development and paired programing approaches.
This position may require travel.
Design, build, and deploy essential systems that transform data into decisions at all levels of national security
Design, build, implement and test software systems which solve the most challenging space monitoring problems, including large-scale data management, processing, exploitation, visualization and distribution of real-time data sources
Contribute to deeply rewarding missions through engagement with diverse computer science specialties and domain experts in areas such as data fusion, signal and image processing, data mining, cloud computing, machine learning, modeling and simulation, service-oriented architectures, big data management and visualization, pattern recognition, and orbital dynamics
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or relevant discipline
Experience in software design and engineering and development skills, including familiarity with modern software development practices and tools
Experience with object-oriented software development (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
US Citizenship is required for clearance
Knowledge and experience with implementation of the full software development life cycle using iterative or Agile methods
Experience/education in research and development efforts using a subset of the following: o system engineering o hardware and software architecture o distributed system design o data exploitation/mining/fusion algorithms o command and control systems o numerical analysis o modeling and simulation o relational/object/geographic database technologies o user interfaces o scientific data visualization o web services technologies o software development for multi-core/GPU/parallel computing
Experience with relevant application and mission domains (space operations, orbital dynamics, satellite systems, ground systems/data centers/operations centers, remote sensing, sensor technologies, proliferation detection, monitoring and surveillance)
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Demonstrated ability to develop and present ideas and results in oral and written form
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment
