This position supports the KBRwyle team in support of the RAID Aerostat and Tower Customs and Border Protection (CBP) mission as a Lead System Engineer. The successful candidate will lead the engineering, test and evaluation, configuration management efforts in support of the CBP KBRwyle

team. Support will include the leading the engineering efforts for RAID aerostat system engineering and integration, ECP development, configuration management of the RAID aerostat system, etc.

The selected candidate will provide and/or manage team inputs providing recommendations, reviews and written drafts of a range of plans and documents in direct support of the Program Manager’s coordination and staffing of program decisions at CBP Tactical Aerostat Systems (TAS) PM level. These include

reports, automation strategy/plan, integrated logistics management plan, annual historical reports, magazine articles, program security guides, risk management plans, etc. The selected candidate will develop and draft comprehensive engineering plans and documents in support of the CBP mission. System integration support will include conducting reviews and analyses, evaluating contractor and government documentation, developing recommended government positions and accomplishing a range of program level management activities. System design reviews, program strategy development, milestone reviews, and program execution activities will be supported.


BS Engineering Degree and 10

years of experience. Effective writing and oral communication skills will be necessary. The selected person should be a self-starter who is able to work without supervision or assistance. Must have an active US security clearance which requires US citizenship and can attain a CBP background investigation.

Desired Skills and Experience

Aerostat OEM engineering experience; MS in Engineering.
