Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is growing and has an exceptional opportunity for a senior recruiter to join a world class talent acquisition organization. This position will support the MFC business area primarily with our Engineering & Technology organization.
This role will primarily serve in the capacity of a full lifecycle recruiter by sourcing and screening qualified applicants using best in class tools and technology. The role will be responsible for building strong client relationships, negotiating offers, making compensation recommendation and working strategic hiring initiatives within MFC talent acquisition

As a recruiter on this team you will lend your expertise in evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge and abilities to present qualified candidates for consideration to our hiring managers.

This is a fast-paced environment and to be successful you must have a demonstrated track record of measurable effectiveness.

Specific responsibilities include:

Manage full-cycle recruiting process for technical, RF, software & systems engineering and cleared positions, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
Lead the efforts to develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies for client groups across MFC
Strategize with TA Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiters to stay apprised of current business dynamics within your customer groups. This is especially important with supporting remote sites’ recruiting needs
Works with all levels of management to understand job and needs requirements. Surfaces candidates and develops networks to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates using creative techniques, social media, databases, and other channels
Source and recruit top tier talent, not only to meet the hiring goals of immediate needs, but also proactively, to build candidate pipeline for upcoming and future growth demands
Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings adhering to compliance requirements. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
Partner effectively with HR teammates when working compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other processes
Some local and domestic travel may be required to attend job fairs and other events
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 years of professional experience as a full lifecycle recruiter in a corporate or agency environment
-Demonstrated expertise in recruiting methods: attracting passive and active candidates, organizing and executing ad hoc networking events, identifying industry experts and finding unique methods to engage with them, creating unique targeted sourcing campaigns, etc.
-Expert level user of applicant tracking systems such as Kenexa BrassRing, Taleo or iCims
-Expert level user of candidate relationship management systems (CRM) such as Smashfly, Smartrecruiter, Bullhorn or other related tools
-Proven ability to develop social media driven recruiting efforts to attract high end engineering or technical talent using platforms to include LinkedIn Recruiter or other applicable tools,
-Proven results in converting passive candidates to qualified applicants, familiar with common talent acquisition analytics and tracking metrics
-Understanding of OFCCP and EEO employment law and application to the hiring process.
-Experience with diversity recruiting initiatives and piloting new recruiting/sourcing technologies in a large enterprise
-Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Required
-Analytic skills; able to interpret and report out on data
Proven ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues, internal customers, external partners and candidates
-This position may support a remote working location
Desired Skills:
-AIRS or HCI certifications
-Experience with diversity recruiting initiatives and piloting new recruiting/sourcing technologies in a large enterprise
-Track record implementing digital recruitment marketing and e-mail campaign strategies with measurable results
