Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group.  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Systems Engineer, in the Hanover, MD area, with strong Customer relationships.  At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

The Innovative Security Solutions (ISS) Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations.  Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. A qualified candidate will provide system-level support for a complex, multi-domain Cross-Domain Solutions system. Diagnose and troubleshoot subsystem-to-subsystem integration issues, as well as individual system-level issues arising from service outages, configuration issues, etc. Help maintain the high availability of the system to ensure mission reliability and up-time.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform traditional systems engineering functions
  • Perform high-level system design
  • Specify system/component performance and interface requirement
  • Develop installation, integration and acceptance test plans for new platforms and tools

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active/current TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Required Qualifications:

  •  Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 5+ years of related experience
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with Red Hat
  • Knowledge of and experience with troubleshooting VMware vCenter administrative issues
  • Experience with Cross-Doman Solutions systems
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Responds to management requests for information

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Experience supporting military personnel
  • DoD 8570 IAT Compliant
  • Experience working as part of Help Desk Team
