This position will be on International assignment at a shipyard in South Korea for a period of 17 months. The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will provide support for the shipyard for the detail design/ EPC of a semi-submersible offshore project. Tasks to include review shipyard design of system descriptions, control narratives, block diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, support procurement packages and reviewing vendor data, including review of electrical documents. You will interface with external stakeholders and bodies such as clients, installation companies and class authorities.


B.Sc or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; 6 years experience of Instrumentation and Controls Design within offshore industry; Knowledge of Instrumentation and Controls design using tools like PDMS and/or Aveva Marine, AutoCAD and INtools. Knowledge in local rules, codes and standards and international marine rules and regulations; Shipyard detail design/ EPC experience considered an advantage.
