We are seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer in the Microelectronic Circuits Department within Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) division, in Dallas, TX.

You will be responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of RF, analog, mixed-signal, and system-on-chip integrated circuits for space and airborne systems. The work is focused on CMOS, BiCMOS, and SiGe integrated circuit design and fabrication technologies and processes, but also includes III-V RF design work.

At this level of responsibility, you are expected to be an advocate for rigorous and systematic design processes and for helping others to understand and follow the company's documented engineering processes, for mentoring less experienced engineers, and taking leadership roles on projects including responsibility for schedules, budgets, and design oversight. You will contribute to technology roadmaps, proposal development, and business capture.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10+ years of related work experience to include product design, analysis, and test of RF, analog, mixed signal, System-on-Chip integrated circuits
  • Capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects.
  • Work with department leadership team to develop and manage technology roadmaps in support of future technologies and IR&D. Provide technical, cost, and schedule data in support of proposals.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance within 1 year of date of start.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
