Are you looking to become the future telemetry data and launch operations expert? If so, SAIC mission support team located in Vandenberg AFB, CA is looking for you. SAIC owns and maintains a telemetry processing system that has become an effective engineering tool to support multiple programs.
SAIC is looking for a capable engineer to become the next generation expert on telemetry processing, data handing, and data analysis.
Additional duties include mission planning, Range integration, launch operations coordination, RF analysis, and oversight of launch vehicle and satellite processing and handling.
Requires frequent interface with Air Force and contractor personnel at multiple levels.
Perform telemetry data processing at all stages including analysis.
Build software tools for telemetry processing and analysis.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Mid to junior level Electrical Engineer with diverse engineering skills.
At least 2 years’ experience in directly related experience.
Must have demonstrated electrical circuits’ analysis skills.
Must have demonstrated presentation skills.
Must demonstrate interpersonal skills including interfacing with Air Force customer and contractor.
Position requires a proactive, self-starting, independent engineer with excellent interpersonal skills.
Requires problem solving and anomaly troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Knowledge of telemetry methods.
Knowledge of Range requirements and launch support assets.
Able to travel to launch sites for field operations.
Must have a Active Secret Clearance.
Understanding of Minuteman III missile.
Telemetry data processing experience.
Experience with MatLab data manipulation and analysis.
