Provide Hardware Configuration Management (CM) support for the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business area in Andover, Massachusetts. Perform configuration management (CM) activities including configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, data management, product release and delivery, and configuration audits; providing support to engineering programs, management and control of hardware configurations and baselines; ensuring complete change traceability through a documented change management process; maintaining data within the Product Data Management (PDM) status accounting system. Tasks include transferring data between configuration management systems, preparing data to be delivered to customers, managing data requests for data repositories external to the Andover site, tracking and processing hardware drawings and engineering change notices, facilitating Configuration Change Control Boards, providing CM assessments and inputs to engineering change requests, and interfacing with engineers and/or customer. The candidate must be a flexible team player with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks in a diverse environment across multiple geographic regions.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year of employment.

Required Skills:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate (or graduated within 18 months) degree program with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Related experience desired
  • Experience in maintaining product structure and correcting errors within CSA database, Windchill Product Data Management experience preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate CM requirements throughout the lifecycle of the program
  • Able to provide risk and opportunity assessments
  • Able to interpret scheduling and milestone requirements
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines
