Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Engineer with experience integrating multiple SW applications communicating via TCP/IP in a Linux Operating System environment. The M&S Engineer will integrate navigation models into the Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) and perform trade studies and analysis with the objective of predicting system performance. The M&S Engineer will work with subsystem and Software engineers to integrate MATLAB models, C++ models, and actual OFP code into the simulations. The ideal candidate is someone highly proficient developing/maintaining C++ code and has experience using the MATLAB Coder tool.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Modeling and Simulation (M&S) assignments:
Demonstrate the ability to design a high-fidelity system simulation capable of predicting system pre-deployment performance.
Perform modeling and simulation tasks for 6DOF Integrated Flight simulations (IFS).
Integrate guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms into a high-fidelity IFS.
Perform trade studies and simulation analyses with the objective of enhancing and optimizing system performance capability.
Demonstrate capability with both IR and RF threat modeling.
Knowledge of C++, MATLAB.
Currently holds a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
Experience with MATLAB coder, Mastery of C++
