Position Title: Director, IT – Strategy

Business Liaison

Position

Description/Job Responsibilities

KBR is seeking a Director, IT –Strategy Business Liaison to join

our growing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-oriented leader

who thrives on challenge and change and who drives delivery of results. The

Director, IT- Strategy Business Liaison reports directly to the Chief

Information Officer (CIO); the incumbent will work closely with business unit

leaders to

develop IT solutions to support the business strategy and

goals.

Operational Management

Perform the

leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required to develop

enterprise architecture. Communicates and builds awareness/understanding

of the goals and direction of enterprise architecture within the

department, other IT groups, and the business.

Works closely

with solution development teams providing input, guidance and direction

for solutions.

A visible leader

that fosters and maintains relationships with key business leaders

throughout the enterprise. Seen as an advocate for business units to

achieve their strategies and goals.

Overall

management of the IT project management portfolio.

Partners with

the Business to develop IT solutions to satisfy the business requirements

Owns managing

demand and setting priorities for IT projects based on available resources

and budgets

Proactively

scopes the technical solution to address customer requirements, assesses

customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize ROI

Lead the

implementation of industry best practices procedures and standards.

Facilitate

excellent communication with all functional areas technical personnel department

heads and executive management.

Oversee

operations-related projects and project portfolio.

Strategy & Planning

Development and

maintenance of 5 year KBR IT strategic roadmaps

Leads the

development of the KBR IT strategy development and implementation

Work with

stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new

technology implementations in partnership with Business Technology

leadership.

Partner with

Business Technology leadership to support emerging technology

proof-of-concepts are aligned with application governance and security

recommendations.

Design and

implement short and long-term strategic plans to make certain

application’s meet existing and future requirements.

Works

collaboratively with other leadership teams to produce application

architectures, standards and policies while supporting other relevant

standards and policies

Identify

recommend and develop cost-effective technology solutions for the

enterprise.

Assist in the

development of and accountable for adherence to the departmental capital

and expense budgets.

Acquisition & Deployment

Manage Vendor

Relationships

Develop business

case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and

initiatives.

Approve purchase

of equipment and supplies in order to meet operational requirements of the

business.

Conduct research

and remain current with the latest technologies and solutions in support

of procurement efforts.

Develop requests

for proposal and capital appropriation requests.

Talent Management

Advocates for

effective execution of the performance management process by collaborating

with direct report/s to set clear objectives goals and expectations.

Conducts regular coaching and constructive feedback discussions to review

performance and goal progress assist with challenges and identify

strengths and development areas all to support Associate professional and

career development while increasing engagement and motivation.

Supports

workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies by effectively

staffing and hiring diverse talent for the organization.

Addresses

Associate relations and performance issues in a timely manner and/or makes

appropriate decisions relative to performance challenges.

Develop direct

reports to increase the bench strength and flexibility of the team. Ensure

that Associates receive appropriate training and resources to perform

their jobs effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Experience Required

10

years of

experience in IT; 5 years in an IT Management role

Minimum 5 Years’

experience in the Business Segment

Strong KBR

Demonstrated

success influencing a company’s overall business strategy and processes.

and problem solver.
