Description:Aircraft Structural Mechanic inspects, troubleshoots malfunctions, rigs, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, removes, disassembles, modifies and install structural components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty. Removes and installs various F-16 related fasteners. Reads and interprets blueprints and engineering instructions. Provides On the Job (OJT) Training for AIDC structural technicians.
Must possess 4 years aircraft structural experience.
Advanced knowledge of aircraft structural installations
Knowledge of the structural techniques and applications to apply towards performing modifications
Ability to utilize drawings to install kit parts
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must have an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
Experience with close tolerance fasteners
Self-motivated and disciplined individual towards quality work
Must have been previously awarded an Air Force 5 to 9 skill level or equivalent USMC or US Navy CDI qualification or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential.
Must be able to read and understand F-16 engineering drawings and documents.
Must be willing to work flexible schedules, first or second shift.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Experience working with Foreign Nationals and working within foreign cultures.
Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplined team, providing program/modification management and technical assistance consultation, international office management, Time Compliance Technical Orders, Job guides, Crew Board, Precedence Diagrams, Crew Loading and Work Plans. Experience interfacing with all levels of foreign government and LM Aero management. Knowledge of International Human Resources foreign assignment policies and procedures, as well as in-country Operating Procedures. Familiarity with foreign taxes, foreign banking and managing budgets is beneficial. Understanding of basic program management principles and applications, expertise in developing technical and manufacturing/modification solutions in an international environment. Background in F-16 modification and production a definite plus. Excellent communication skills and a thorough knowledge of production tooling application and manufacturing processes.
