Position Title: Costpoint Technical Support Specialist

Position Description/Job Responsibilities

This position will work closely with the Financial Information Systems functional team and provide back-end technical support for day-to-day end-user requirements as well as technical implementation of key solutions to support business strategies to achieve corporate objectives.

  • Experience in security and technical administration with working knowledge of the following Deltek products:
  • Costpoint 7.0.1 and 7.1.1
  • Time and Expense 9.0.1, 10.0
  • Cognos 10.2.2 and Cognos 11.0.11
  • Manufacturing
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Contract Management
  • Specialties Required:P-SQL, system implementation, software installation, security, and technical documentation
  • Integration experience with other custom and third-party software such as Maximo, Manufacturing Orders, Sales Orders, Logistics, Inventory, and Procurement
  • Solid knowledge in Costpoint architecture and infrastructure support
  • Candidate must have a diverse background in the areas of information technology, finance, cost accounting, and supply chain management
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated successes in support of Costpoint and affiliated systems
  • Track record of delivering cost effective solutions to problems, reducing cost, while following SOX and Change Management procedures

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Business related
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience with Costpoint, Time and Expense and Cognos
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities and tight changing deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others
