We work as a team, and wear multiple hats, sharing the effort to get to the finish line. To be successful you must be a self-motivated and perseverant worker with a 'get it done' attitude. You must be extremely resourceful, creative, and excellent at organizing, tracking, and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Your ability to extract results from various parties in a polite but firm manner is critical.
Ideal candidate characteristics include strong analytical abilities, decision making skills, sound business judgment, and excellent communication, negotiating and planning skills. You should be adaptive to change.
The following activities will constitute the majority of your responsibilities, though this is not an exhaustive list:
Manage major and minor proposal efforts. The level of support required ranges from cradle to grave management of major efforts, to coordination support for smaller efforts.
Perform a careful, detailed analysis of solicitations, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, TOs, etc. resulting in a thorough understanding of items required for a compliant response including development of a requirements matrix, and the ability to create and deliver briefs on response requirements and schedule.

Must have extensive experience with multi-faceted proposals requiring client reference checks, technical volumes, past performance volumes, price/cost volumes, and management volumes.
Strong knowledge of the Federal Government procurement process, experience with managing full life cycle proposal efforts for Federal Civilian, DoD, and Intelligence Community customers, experience with commercial proposals, and experience in managing and coordinating the work of multi-disciplinary teams.
