The Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Business Office has an immediate opening for a G08 Senior Business Analyst supporting the Miniature Launched Decoy (MALD) Production Program. The MALD Program is US Air Force funded effort with future growth with the US Navy and FMS countries. The selected individual will be responsible for overall financial and business management support for MALD Production, including significant interface with Program Management, Contracts, OSQ, Engineering and Supply Management.

In addition, other tasks will include working with monthly RPlan, quarterly EACs, & RONA reviews bookings/backlog, providing inputs to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-Year Plan, maintenance of contract modifications, working capital and ad hoc financial analysis (i.e. material analysis). The ideal individual for the position will be an excellent communicator with a desire to learn and be challenged, the ability to work on a variety of tasks, and the ability to interact with a variety of management levels and customer counterparts. This position will provide an opportunity to enhance skills in PRISM, estimates at completion, RPlan maintenance, variance analysis, and other metrics and tools used in support of production projects. This position is located at Rita Road Facility in Tucson.


Minimum Required Skills:

  • 4 years finance/accounting experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or 2 years of experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Program Management, Contracts, Operations Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution.
  • Strong desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 2 years experience with APEX, PRISM, and Business Warehouse
  • Proven ability working independently and with higher levels of management
Highly Desired Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with material tracking and forecasting
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and customer
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of AOP and 5-year processes, program forecasting and metrics
