Job Description:

This position requires the candidate to operate, set up, and perform maintenance, fault isolate, and repair of Reconfigurable Table Top Trainers (RT3), Scenario Generation Group (SGG), Student Training Consoles (STC) and Instructor Training Group (ITG) equipment. Candidate will analyze and develop training data base files for Patriot System Tactical Initialization and Air and Missile defense training scenarios for US and Foreign customers. Candidate will use analysis and other data gathered in the field, to develop training materials and supporting instructor and student guides and conduct instructional duties on the RT3, SGG, ITG to US and Foreign Customers. Perform on the job training as needed or required.

The successful candidate will be required to interface directly with customer representatives and be able to make appropriate scheduling decisions based upon equipment availability, student requirements and other factors. During preparation for course conduct, he/she will interface with engineers and other technical personnel to analyze and revise lesson plans, validate documentation and will provide subject matter expertise to the department.

This position requires a current secret level security clearance.


Note:
This position will be located in Lawton Oklahoma, and will require frequent CONUS and OCONUS travel.




Required Skills:

  • Completion of specific US Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training courses as an Enhanced Patriot Fire Control Operator and Maintainer.
  • 2 years of practical experience working with the applicable Patriot training devices such as SGG, STC and ITG.
  • Must have documented experience with the operation and maintenance of the RT3 and PCOFT systems.
  • Must have experience using the UNIX and Windows Computer operating systems.
  • Microsoft Office suite of computer applications.


Desired Skills:
  • 8 years in a specific Patriot military specialty and in conjunction with practical hands-on experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers.
  • Technical writing.
  • Previous military Instructor.

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2 years of Patriot Air Defense System experience. Experience can substitute for a degree. (E.g., AA degree plus 6 years, or no degree plus 10 years of experience in the Patriot Air Defense System).
