SAIC is seeking a Jr. Requirements Officer to research, validate, and document telephony accounts and determine if they are valid.  The candidate must be detail oriented, have strong analytic skills, and a methodical thinker in this rewarding and challenging environment. The Requirements Officer will work with several databases and applications to verify that multiple categories are checked prior to removing an account. 

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
• Research and verify if an account is needed and if the need remains valid/still exists
• Conduct testing of each account to validate that it routes correctly
• Conduct extensive research on an account to ensure you have properly vetted prior to updating the documentation
• Ensure accounts are recorded in the approved tracking system
• Follow standard operational procedures (SOPs)  for telephony related services and determine the correct  path to follow
• Anticipate potential problems, identify risks, and plan for contingencies
• Work multiple issues simultaneously while maintaining a professional composure
• Must be able to work independently and work well with in a team atmosphere

Qualifications

  • BS in Science or Engineering related field ; if no degree 3+ years with related industry experience
  • Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
  • 1+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry and/or a demonstrated understanding of telecommunication phone circuits and internet capabilities
  • 1+ years’ experience gathering and documenting requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Must have experience developing and maintaining SOPs
  • Moderate understanding of Microsoft Access and Excel 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in high-availability, fast-paced environments
  • Strong customer service focus and experience with end users
