Responsible for creating training materials (computer-based training, instructor guides, operator manuals, checks on learning), and training end user command teams in software application operations for CONUS and OCONUS operations. Trainer will be responsible for conducting training in a classroom environment. 50-60% Domestic & International travel will be required.
Technical Skill Required:
Candidate must have the technical aptitude to become a System Expert in training system production, process and design on the team that supports the CRRD (Command Risk Reduction Dashboard) program. Prefer that the candidate possesses knowledge of Learning Management Systems, and/or Adobe Captivate, or equivalent training systems. Successful candidate will possess outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Have had previous experience in developing e-learning or simulation systems. Candidate must be good educator, a self-starting program solver with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Background Experience Preferred:
Experience on the following tools: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photo Shop, MS Office Suite and a background in e-learning. Former Army experience.
Number Of Years Required: 6 years of relevant experience
Desire experience building interactive training for military applications and simulation programs for a software intensive system. Desire experience working in a diverse team environment with trainers and software developers, developing training lesson material, and performance laboratories. Desire background experience in adult education, and e-learning using Adobe Captivate.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required. Highly desire specialties in developing e-learning training using Adobe Captivate for web-based and/or computer-based training and simulation for a large-scale software intensive system.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active Secret Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
