SAIC is seeking a Business/Supply Chain Analyst to investigate/research DOD contracting companies’ key corporate performance parameters, ownership, personnel skills and demographics, and other data relevant and important to the company’s product supply chain.
This position will require:
Researching the Internet and technical journals/publications extensively
Creating processes and methods to gather supply chain data
Analyzing data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvement
Contacting and Interacting with company/corporate representatives to obtain data necessary to develop comprehensive insight and understanding of that entities’ supply chain.
Evaluating vendor operations
Evaluating Risk Readiness, Risk Response, and Risk Recovery domains
Evaluating the various disciplines that come together to make up the entirety of a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) capability
Researching and determining existence of a Secure Supply Chain or an anchor capability
Identifying company assets and Total Asset Visibility
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with supply chain processes
