Description:This position is for a Structural Analyst with Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works® Advanced Development Programs. This position requires an Airframe Structural Analyst to use their technical expertise to analyze aircraft structure and subsystems installations. The candidate will apply his or her understanding of the technical principles of structural analysis toward the solution of technical problems. The candidate will have thorough knowledge in the field of aircraft structural analysis and will have a broad knowledge of all related disciplines. The candidate will be responsible for preliminary and detailed analysis of aircraft structures, structural assemblies, participation in trade studies and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or above Degree in an Engineering Technical Discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering.

Structural analysis experience or structural analysis coursework.
Desired Skills:
--Structural analysis hand calculation methods
--Durability and Damage Tolerance
--Familiar with fatigue & fracture
--Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
--Experience using LM Aero Common Analysis Tools including SLIM/Vision/IDAT
--Metallic and composite analysis
--Familiarity with CATIA V5
--Understanding of drawing practices, material properties, and manufacturing processes
--Excellent writing and communication skills
--Active Secret clearance within 5 years of last investigation
