Description:Perform as the Labs and Technical Services Acquisition representative, responsible for achieving lab procurement objectives across multiple projects including JSF, IFG, ADP, Capital, and Overhead requirements as required to support Ft. Worth HITL/MITL Labs. Tasks include participating in weekly team meetings, initiation of acquisition activity on various project Bill of Materials, database utilization and maintaining data integrity (i.e. cost data, due dates, quantity, part numbers, etc...), following Lab Acquisition processes, procedures, along with associated LM Aero Codes and LM Corporate procurement procedures. Perform acquisition liaison by coordinating equipment/parts purchase requests with Supply Chain Management buyers and L&TS Engineering Project Leads/CAMs. Task includes coordination with engineering design/fabrication teams on Material requirements including interpretation of Bill of Materials, leading to the initiation of procurements via various purchasing methods including SAP NPRs, P-Card, MAXIMO Requests, and/or Material Stores Requests from Production Stock. Tasks would also include vendor coordination and obtaining engineering budgetary quotes, providing parts status to Engineering Leads/CAMS/Project Leads and parts tracking as well as coordination with receiving/transportation departments to ensure parts reach their destinations. Tasks also include participation as required in the packing/packaging, lifting, moving, staging, shipping, and receiving at the lab docks for planned events and deliveries and coordination with LM internal transportation and external shipping vendors as required.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Experience with SAP processes
Experience collaborating and interfacing with Supply Chain Management.
Experience with multiple procurement methods, logistical concepts, and transportation processes and procedures.
Experience with computer applications involving spreadsheets and/or databases for maintaining parts status, tracking, and receiving.
Experience providing acquisition status to Project Leads/CAMs.
MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Access
Knowledge/Experience with LM procurement methods including SAP, P-Card, and MAXIMO procurement tools/processes.
Knowledge of LM Internal/External Transportation processes and procedures.
Good Communication/Coordination skills both verbal and written.
