Description:The successful candidate will join a team of experienced operations project managers at the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation (CFI) in Suffolk, VA engaging in the development and execution of wargaming, experimentation, analysis, and capability demonstration. The work will be in a fast-paced environment and will require the individual to multi-task and pay attention to details, delivering flawless execution on all assignments.
The position is referred to as an Analytical Collaboration Environment (ACE) Architect. Independently and as a team member, the selected candidate will conduct and participate in planning and execution of various wargame campaigns, experiments, and workshops. ACE activities vary in scope, but all have four principle components:
1) Development of the analytical construct
2) Analytical Collaboration Environment (ACE) design and construction
3) Workshop execution and database population
4) Data extraction, formatting and analysis.
The ACE Architect must have situational and content awareness on the first component, is the lead for the second component, provides continuous support for the third, and recurring support for the fourth component.
The ACE construct is the participants’ interface with the collection database. The primary tool utilized for development of this information technology construct is Facilitate Pro, a commercially provided collaboration software suite (http://www.facilitate.com). The access to the collaborative database must be user-friendly, reliable, tested, and supported continuously during the ACE event execution window.
The individual will work independently and/or under general supervision, with that work reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy. The individual must be able to determine and pursue, through functional cross-coordination, the courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
This individual will be required to develop presentations, worksheets, and documents utilizing Microsoft Office and should have sufficiently advanced knowledge to prepare professional presentations.
The selected individual will hold strong interpersonal and communications skills and demeanor to represent the CFI to customers, teammates, management and staff.
This position may require some travel.

•The individual must possess proficiency in Microsoft software particularly Excel, Power Point, Word and SharePoint, and must have effective written and verbal communication and basic customer service skills.

•Analytical aptitude and understanding of best practices in analytical surveys and questionnaires
•Creativity – must be able to “think outside the box” in order to implement and execute new ways of using Facilitate Pro (http://www.facilitate.com) and html to design a new or tailor an existing ACE construct.
