The Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) Contracts Team is searching for an early career Contracts professional to join our team and support a diverse portfolio of contracts and captures that span the globe in Syracuse, NY. This exciting Contracts Negotiator position will be responsible for executing a diverse set of contracts and captures in one of three Market Subsegments (Ground Based Air Surveillance, Airborne or Q-53) based on the skill set of the selected candidate. This will include supporting USG based FAR/DFARS contracts directly with the USG, USG based contracts as a major subcontractor and/or international contracts (FMS, FMF & DCS). In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting captures (USG &/or International) and proposal negotiations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers is required. This role may require occasional domestic and potential international travel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability/willingness to travel as needed
Must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with US DOD (FAR & DFARS)
- Experience with International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) Contracts
- International Travel
- CFCM
- JD degree, MBA or other related graduate degree.
