General Dynamics is seeking a professional Automation and Test Developer that will perform development, coding, deployment and maintenance of test products.  This individual will perform automation and documentation of testing procedures and the final results.  This position requires the ability to communicate both on a technical level along with the ability to communicate effectively via both written and orally to senior management positions.  Qualified candidates will also have the ability to:

  1. Define test requirements and objectives with understanding of various test scenarios and analysis of end results for improving efficiencies during future events.
  2. Ability to build and script repeatable end-to-end system tests and automation from which programs will be written. Documentation of test cases and test procedures.
  3. Support regression testing in a cloud-based continuous delivery environment.
  4. Collaboration between engineering teams, product management and DevOps to ensure proper test coverage.
  5. Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of web interface enhancements.
  6. Plans, schedules and conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action.
  7. Design, build, and maintain systems, APIs, and applications for internal and external users.
  8. Conduct requirement analysis using agile methodology, working directly with product owners and management at all levels.
  9. Participate in load and performance tests analysis & resolution of performance issues.
  10. Responsible for tuning, optimization, maintenance, and support of the production environment.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
