JANITOR/GROUNDS MAINTENANCE - Military veterans preferred

Performs routine cleaning of all areas of the site facilities. Perform janitorial tasks to maintain sanitary conditions including, but not limited to floor buffing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash, wall, window, bathroom and furniture cleaning. Maintains the grounds of the ROTHR facilities. Duties would include cutting grass, trimming hedges, edging, pruning shrubs, planting grass, spreading fertilizer, and application of pesticides. Performs all other related duties as assigned and required.

U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position requires a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

No relocation is provided. Preference is given to local candidates.

Required Skills:

Applicant must have a minimum of six months combined practical grounds maintenance and janitor experience.

Applicant must have the ability to comprehend and carry out the instructions outlined in written procedures with little supervision.

Within twelve months of hire, the selected applicant must qualify as a Registered Technician for State Certified Pesticide Applicator.

Other Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Successful applicant must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance.

Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record to obtain authorization to drive company vehicles.

Must be able to obtain access to DoD installations.

Desired Skills:

Current Registered State Pesticide Applicator.

Previous or current security clearance.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
