KBR's MCPP program is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy.

Supervises and coordinates all activities of the Commodities equipment

mechanics engaged in repairing, adjusting, servicing, testing, and storing

of material handling and construction equipment/vehicles. Responsible for

equipment readiness, maintenance shop organizations, control of maintenance

assets and providing advice on all matters relating to Commodity equipment

maintenance. Ensures mechanics are properly trained in all maintenance

functions. Responsible for maintenance scheduling to determine the sequence

of assignment based on the equipment condition and priority level. Monitor

quantity of workmanship to obtain optimal use of equipment, facilities and

personnel. Monitors inventory of repair parts and equipment, to include

requisitions for replacement stock. Inspects work performed to ensure

compliance with specifications and time schedules. Interprets

specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts.

Coordinates department activities with other departments as needed. Ensures

compliance with all administrative policies, procedures, and governmental

regulations. Ensures employees adhere to all safety requirements,

procedures, and policies. Supervise and manage the administration of

workspace for Commodity equipment repair. Recommends changes to procedures

as appropriate. Complies with and ensures compliance with all MPF ISO-9002

policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • A.A. degree in related discipline. In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
  • Eight years of directly related work experience in a KBR Comm Elect/Engineer/Motor Transport/Ordnance environment.
  • Complete the Comm Elect/Engineer/Motor Transport/Ordnance Officers Course, or equivalent.
  • Complete a minimum of 4 Years in a Comm Elect/Engineer/Motor Transport/Ordnance billet; or equivalent.
  • Ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to analyze equipment and forecast spare part requirements.
  • Ability to analyze maintenance, repair or operations to determine methods of improvement
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Working knowledge of EXCEL/ACCESS software.
  • Working knowledge of MDSSII.
  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
