Position Title: Associate Technical Professional – Electrical

Position Description

KBR is seeking an Associate Technical Professional – Electrical. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for engineering and design services for electrical systems for heavy industrial facilities in the Chemical, Pulp and Paper and Power Industries. Responsibilities include preparing design and detail drawings for installation of electrical systems and equipment including motors, protective devices, controls, panels, cabling and wiring, substation and distribution circuits, lighting, heat tracing etc.

Under direct supervision, performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. Uses judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives. Performs specific and well-defined assignments.

Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering. Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is preferred. Experience working in databases (SPEL, Access) or AutoCAD is a plus.

This is the entry-level position for the engineering disciplines.
