Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) has an opening for a Facilities Manager II - Represented Workforce. Understanding of Labor Contracts and working with a represented workforce and represented leadership. This position is to provide management and oversight of all FacilitiesLabor Resource Planning for our Maintenance operations in the Northeast. This dynamic role will involve multi-tasking and significant interaction with various levels of Management and Represented Leadership and their membership. There will be substantial application of Labor Contracts and Agreements, in an effort to support harmonious relations.

Position Description:

  • Labor Contracts and working with a represented workforce and represented leadership
  • This position is responsible for hiring and on boarding of Maintenance trades and housekeeping staff for all Massachusetts and Rhode Island locations
  • Assignment of trade resources to meet site requirements and business demands.
  • Absence Management Manager
  • Labor Relations- Leadership skills and knowledge in the areas of Labor Contracts and working with Represented Employees
  • Department Representative in matters of employee discipline and dispositioning of Grievances.
  • Strong organizational skills, record keeping, and dispute resolution
  • Work closely with others to develop and implement process improvements
  • Department representative with Contract negotiations (Union, Union Relations)
  • Travel to sites in northeast Region in MA and RI regularly

Required Skills:
  • BACHELOR's Degree AND Minimum of 8+ years of increased experience working with a Represented Workforce and represented leadership
  • Understanding of Labor Contracts and working with a represented workforce and represented leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships based on trust and respect with Representative Leadership
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple, demanding and complex projects in a timely manner with accuracy
  • Proven negotiating skills and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills necessary to support supervision of labor and communication of project status and system operations
  • Demonstrated experience in customer relationship management
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required for operational needs
  • Travel to sites in Northeast Region in MA and RI regularly
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

  • Construction Supervisor License
  • Trades License
  • Project Manager Certification and/or CFM
  • Highly motivated individual interested in continued professional development through professional licenses, certification, formal and on the job training
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Thorough understanding and commitment to sound program management techniques
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Project and MS Project Scheduling software

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
