The HAWK Fair Share Sustainment Program ( FSSP ) customer desires a test support engineer to be located at the White Sands Missile Range, NM. The candidate for this critical role will be required to perform various tasks in support of the HAWK FSSP and work closely with the HAWK customer, as well as the Raytheon HAWK Program Office (PMO). The candidate for this role must have a strong technical knowledge of air defense or related systems, including operations, logistics and maintenance. Occasional travel will be required to support the customer.
Job Description:
Work under the direction of the Raytheon HAWK PMO supporting the various tasks and efforts under the HAWK FSSP Engineering Services Contract with the US Government. Respond to queries from the USG concerning HAWK engineering, logistics, test programs and maintenance issues as requested.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to, supporting all aspects of the HAWK testbed located at White Sands Missile Range, including the maintenance and operation of multiple HAWK assets, integrating and operating the HAWK equipment, troubleshooting and assisting in the repair of components and supporting data collection and analysis as required.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology or other disciplines; 6 years of related experience or a combination of experience and education can be substituted in lieu of a 4 year degree.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Six years’ experience in Systems Engineering, Integration and Test
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in past work performance history
  • Five years’ experience with the HAWK Air Defense Missile System ( or equivalent ) including operations, logistics and test
  • Ability to operate and maintain, provide engineering assessment and corrective actions on faulted equipment, and install and test customer work orders and engineering modifications as required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to lift and carry 25+ lbs.
  • Willing and able to travel within the United States and internationally as required
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a test environment which includes U.S. Government and contractor personnel
  • Competent in the use of personal computer applications including MS Office
  • Knowledge and experience in the utilization of common industry external test equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum and digital analyzers
  • Successfully completed HAWK School
