Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the team on-site in Ft. Meade, MD.
This position will support the JFHQ-DODINâ??s operational mission of verifying the effectiveness of countermeasures implemented at the boundary, network, and host levels of the enterprise. The Cyber Security Analyst will enable Command and Control (C2) of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) by ensuring its overall health through 24/7 monitoring, directing, controlling, coordination, de-conflicting, synchronizing, and reporting the current status to JFHQ-DODIN staff.
Execute in real time, in accordance with mission requirements:
Triage of events
Network analysis and threat detection
Vulnerability information dissemination
DoD CNDSP methodology
Coordinate Computer Network Defense (CND) operations with DoD Component Commands/Services/Agencies/Field Activities (CC/S/A/FA), monitor and report effect of DCO-IDM operations on CC/S/A/FA missions.Â
Have knowledge of DoD Computer Network Defense with an understanding of the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors, and network vulnerability exploitation. Â Â Â
This role is mission essential and requires the flexibility to support Day, Afternoons, or Overnight shifts in addition to weekends and/or holidays as needed.
Position requires a minimum of 2 - 5 years of overall related experience. Additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree
Active, in-scope US Government issued TS/SCI security clearance
Security+CE certification required
Experience with current Microsoft technologies such as MS Office 2013 and Sharepoint
Good oral and written communication skills
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US citizenship is required
Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ce.
SIEM Tool Experience (ArcSight, Splunk, Wireshark, etc)
Experience briefing Senior Leaders
