We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. We have a future opportunity for a Help Desk Manager to join our team, supporting AFNCR-ITS activities at the Pentagon, JB-Andrews OR Bolling AFB. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages help desk operations and supervises subordinates.
  • Oversees all Tier 1 technicians, analysts, and specialists providing technical support to all customer requests and inquiries.
  • Technical support duties; answering telephones, communicating with clients, diagnosing hardware and software malfunctions, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Implements processes and improvements to support Platinum, Gold, and Silver Customer Service Levels. 

Qualifications:

GDIT Requirements:

 

  • 5+ years of related experience.

 

Contract requirements:

 

 

  • Secret Clearance is required.
  • 8-10 years of directly related experience supporting DoD help desk operations, including supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing help desks operations, supporting approximately 10,000 customers and integrating service providers for a blend of basic and premier customers.
  • Current certifications from an organization such as the Help Desk Institute (HDI) are required.
  • Pentagon or Air Force experience highly desired.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
