Instruct students on tactics, techniques and procedures for mitigating IED threat The R2C Instructor is to provide first-class instruction to students both in the classroom and on the practical application lanes. Instructors must be able to speak in front of large groups, be well-spoken and capable of ensuring the orderly conduct of the class. Instructors will formally certify and maintain proficiency in all assigned R2C Master Lesson Files (MLFs), as well as supervising the practical applications and evaluations associated with each MLF.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience.
Minimum 4 years’ military experience
Tactical experience in an IED environment
3 years experience in formal instruction
3 years experience in R2C
3 years C-IED experience
DoD background (preferred)
Possible short-term CONUS travel to meet customers
Understanding of USMC Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE).
Substantial CONUS/OCONUS travel is anticipated with this position up to 50%. Able withstand the rigors of inclement weather to include extreme heat and cold. Ability to carry up to 40 pounds of training equipment and emplace this equipment into the ground with digging devices
