We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior IT Specialist to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

The Systems Engineer for Mobile Device Management (MDM) is responsible for the mobile application platform, service architecture and technical design in a distributed, cross-platform mobile environment. Activities include, researching and building proof of concepts, enhancing the existing platform with a security focus and ensuring a seamless user experience. Technology responsibilities for this position include:

• MobileIron Core Experience creating policies, app configurations and deploying apps to internal Apps@Work
• MobileIron Sentry experience troubleshooting and deploying new servers.
• Experience with Apple DEP, iOS supervised mode.
• Experience with Android Enterprise
• Windows 10 Desktop MDM Experience
• Samsung Knox Experience
• iOS and Android VPN.
• Exchange server experience
• Active directory experience
• Able to write documentation
• Azure/ Office 365 Experience
• Intune Mobile Application Management (MAM) is a plus
• PIVD Experience

Interpreting and ensuring application of policies and procedures are met within established deadlines. Providing technical and architectural leadership for Mobile platforms such as Apple iOS and Android.

Defining Infrastructure and capacity planning for enterprise mobility platforms and relating timelines for engineering of platform that lead to deliverables. Leading technical design sessions with cross functional teams, including the creation of diagrams for proof of concepts and currently implemented production platforms. Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent system design.

Providing expert knowledge of mobile application platforms to business and technology teams and facilitates the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.

Working with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business / technology needs.

Improving processes to ensure alignment between the federal government strategies and application technology roadmap.


Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Management and 4 years total experience or equivalent. Must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT\Mobile Devices\Mobile platforms. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills. Must have experience developing & implementing policies, plans, & procedures. Must be able to work with groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. Must be able to work flexible hours; On Call Availability 24/7.
