Description:The Skunk Works is looking for world-class talent in mission systems engineering to join the 75 year tradition of creating advanced aircraft.

This position requires an Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) Integration & Test Engineer to use their technical, program, and systems expertise to design, develop, integrate, and qualify systems for advanced aircraft. The candidate will define specifications, data interfaces, perform performance analysis, system integration support and troubleshooting, and technical oversight over the system supplier.

The candidate must be effective working in team environment environments. Strong verbal and writing skills are essential.

***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start.***
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or above in an Engineering Discipline, Math, Physics, or related STEM Degree

Experience in one or more of the following:

Lab, Field or flight test experience Avionics Systems

Flight Control System /Vehicle Management System (VMS) Integration and Test

Experience in all aspects of the VMS development lifecycle

Desired Skills:
Proven leadership experience

Demonstrated ability coordinating with systems engineering, hardware designers and subsystems

Experience supporting Flight Test

Requirements management experience

Design experience

Experience with hands on avionics lab testing: Testing and evaluating flight data as well as simulator programming experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills
