Description:The selected candidate will become a technical staff member for laboratory software development and run-time simulation computing environments for the LM Aero Simulation and Systems Integration Laboratories. This organization develops state of the art, real-time, pilot-in-the-loop fighter and airlift simulations and systems integration laboratories. This includes simulators for the F-22, F-35, C-5, C-130J Aircraft.
As part of the Simulation and System Integration Labs organization, the candidate will provide computer and network support for Windows, Linux and Solaris Operating Systems, and be able to assist other developers, modelers and integrators working on these development and run-time systems.
Must be a US Citizen. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Security + CE Certification.
Experience with multi-processor Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems, administrating networks, workstations, file servers and PCs.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Experience with database administration.
Experience with real-time simulation.
Excellent communication skills will be required.
Able to work independently and in cooperation with multiple individuals and groups.
Candidate will be required to provide timely and accurate technical solutions.
