Total Annual Compensation for AH-64 MTPs: $280K +, Provided Living Quarter Allowance, Pay Leave, Sign On Bonus, End of Service Bonus, 8Hr Work Day for 6 days a week, On 7th day Overtime Pay rate!

Job Summary

The Maintenance Test Pilot (AH-64 D) obtains a detailed knowledge of operating in the AOR airspace. Must be proficient flying in day VFR conditions. Maintenance Test Pilot performs routine acceptance test of aircraft following corrective maintenance.

Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
â?¢ Maintenance Test Pilot, responsible for all matters pertaining to maintenance operations.
â?¢ Ensures maintenance of all aircraft are in compliance set forth by appropriate maintenance manuals, operations directives, FAA compliance directives and contractual readiness rates.
â?¢ Able to successfully complete all no-notice flight evaluations and exams in his/her primary aircraft.
â?¢ Remains fully qualified in aircraft and perform as a crewmember when necessary.
â?¢ Tests aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability.
â?¢ Operates models of test aircraft and flight test support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers.
â?¢ Coordinates flight operations efforts.
â?¢ Oversee maintenance operations, test fly and trouble shoot, manage maintenance flow.
â?¢ Perform other related duties as requested.
Knowledge & Skills
â?¢ U.S. Citizen, as specified in the Task Order and holder or the ability to receive SECRET Security clearance
â?¢ Level 3 English proficiency
â?¢ Hold the rating of FAA Certificate, rotorcraft, commercial pilot, instrument
â?¢ Be qualified in type aircraft in use (AH-64 D).
â?¢ In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, US Army Maintenance procedures and regulations,
â?¢ AR 95-20 and contract requirements.
Experience & Education
â?¢ US ARMY AMOC (phase 1/2) Complete and qualified.
â?¢ Have a minimum of 1,000 hours total PIC time â?? of that 300 hours must be in similar aircraft type.
â?¢ Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
â?¢ Must be able to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
â?¢ Frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds.
â?¢ Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.
â?¢ Most heavy lifting is accomplished through the use of mechanical devices.
â?¢ Must have or be able to pass a FAA or Military Class 2 flight physical.
Must be able to travel as required in support of mission worldwide.
