The ECM Tech II/Operations Coordinator (Countermeasures and Integration (CnI) section) supports U.S. Department of State ECM requirements in CONUS and in multiple overseas theaters in potentially high-threat environments. The position duties include tracking the daily PERSTAT submissions from all CnI teams and submitting Weekly and Monthly Activity Reports to the Protective Technology Branch (PTB) Chief. Additionally, he/she will prepare for all internal meetings by updating agendas, extending Outlook Invitations and ensuring all resources for meetings are coordinated and locked in. The ECM Tech II/Operations Coordinator attends weekly meetings held by the PTS leadership as well as government led PTS meetings and other meetings as required. He/She will compile notes and tasks from meetings and publish for the CnI team. The ECM Tech II/Operations Coordinator tracks all travel requirements for CnI personnel traveling TDY to CONUS and OCONUS sites and is responsible for the travel of newly hired personnel deploying to theater for the first time. The ECM Tech II/Ops Coordinator will demonstrate broad knowledge of ECM through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. The ECM Electronics Technician II will apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. The ECM Electronics Technician II will demonstrate proficiency in ECM concepts, practices, and procedures and provide guidance on ECM issues.
May be required to travel OCONUS to conduct installation, training or maintenance at diplomatic facilities. OCONUS travel may include critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions. Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination. Must be able to obtain Department of State Class 1 Medical Clearance. Must have a valid US Passport.
