Responsible for providing systems engineering support to the Lead Engineer in the JAMS Launcher and Test Sets (L/TS) Product Office. Assist in requirements analysis and traceability; systems engineering; system development and production specification and contractual requirements; program development, management, assessment and execution and preparation of documentation, briefings and position papers required for program milestone decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific Field/10 years' experience
Applicant must possess effective oral and written communication skills, with ability to handle complex assignments while working as an individual and in a team environment. Must be able to demonstrate experience in organizing and facilitating working groups to accomplish complex assignments, conducting and interpreting research, integrating program information, developing briefings, presentations and staffing decision documentation required for successful program execution. Experience working with DOD Systems Engineering, using the rational DOORS system, systems engineering tools such as Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), the DOD 5000 series processes/policy. Knowledge and experience in multiple technical domains (system engineering, test & evaluation, risk management, research & development, production, etc. is desired. Position requires ability to travel up to 25%.
