SAIC is looking for a Process Improvement Engineer who seeks a challenge and ready to use their skills and experience to support various programs of record and projects. This position is within the Program Executive Office; Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). The following are some of the tasks, experiences, and responsibilities an excellent candidate would take on in a dynamic and professional work environment.
Analyze and identify factors for CM and Engineering process improvement and recommend solutions that are consistent with organizational objectives 
Support development and modification of Engineering and Configuration Management (CM) processes.
Support the development of Configuration Management processes that leverage U.S. Navy Development and Operations (DevOps) initiatives and various engineering methodologies that programs and projects currently perform or are part of the plan 
Support development of Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DI2E) workspaces in support of the Program Acquisition office engineering activities within PEO C4I
Provide subject matter expertise to improve CM and Engineering processes of Naval systems, Programs of Record (PoR) and projects managed by the program office including the following areas:
o Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC)
o Information Operations (IO)
o Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)
Research new concepts, tools, and emerging technology related to process improvement procedures
Assist in analyzing current programs, projects, and system CM and Engineering practices and procedures and define areas and criteria to improve processes



TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience.

Required Skills:  
Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders; Government technical representatives, and contractors; excellent written and oral communications; ability to work in a team collaborative environment; ability to brief senior government personnel.
Knowledge of Navy and PEO C4I System Engineering Tools and Processes.
Demonstrated experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working business process development, including but not limited to System Engineering Master Plans (SEMP), diagrams, checklists, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), manuals, and handbooks.         
Desired Skills: 
Understanding of PEO C4I & SPAWAR; experience with U.S. Navy systems,  programs and fleet operations.
