Description:Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.


Performs routine administrative and security related duties in the Security & Emergency Services Investigations and Counterintelligence Department as the Security Assistant to the Investigations Manager. Provides administrative support and performs a variety of administrative duties for the Investigations Manager and other Investigators. Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining departmental case files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Uses personal computers and standard desktop software to compose various reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, letters and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage. Serves as the main security point of contact for the Contractor Screening Program and answers questions relating to the program operations and established policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

3 Years or more of experience in administrative or job related functions.

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), outstanding customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, must be able to multi-task, impeccable grammar skills with ability to review and edit communications.



Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite to include: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, SharePoint.
Familiarity with working in Case Organization Management Enterprise Tool (COMET) data base.
Previous Security Administrative and processing criminal background checks a plus.
