This position is located at the Sikorsky Owego, NY location. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Maintenance Test Pilot with Blackhawk / Naval Hawk experience to support current Sikorsky Production test programs, customer training, and worldwide aircraft deliveries. This Pilot is responsible to the Chief Pilot-Owego, NY for the oversight of assigned aircraft, associated flight operations and crews assigned to ensure operations are conducted and in compliance with Sikorsky procedures, product specifications and federal regulations. The Production Test Pilot can expect to perform production acceptance flights, post maintenance functional check flights, aircraft deliveries, customer pilot training, participate in the development of flight manuals (RFM), and perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot, SFD.
This position will entail extensive domestic and international travel (up to 30% possible), occasionally on short notice. Weekend, holiday, and overtime work is required on a frequent basis.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 2,000 flight hours (1,000 pilot in command) and a minimum of 6 years maintenance test flight experience is required. Must have experience in the Sikorsky Hawk product line of helicopters. Experience in Sikorsky commercial (S-76 / S-92) aircraft a plus. The applicant must be a graduate of a military maintenance test pilot school, or have equivalent experience, hold a current FAA Commercial Pilot's License with Rotorcraft rating and Helicopter instrument rating. CFI & ATP desirable. Must possess a current FAA Class II physical qualification.
Desired Skills:
BS or BA degree required. Degree in Engineering or a physical science desired.
