This position is for a Supply Chain proposal Analyst in the SAS Supply Chain Proposal Excellence function. The Supply Chain Proposal Analyst responsibilities include the tactical execution of the Supply Chain bidding process in accordance with the Raytheon program strategy.
The position requires the ability to develop a Supply Chain Action Plan in response to RFP requirements in collaboration with the Program and Functional leads to ensure that the material pricing is responsive to the RFP requirements, while collaborating with Material Program Managers and Purchasing/Subcontract Managers to secure responsive bids from suppliers.
Job responsibilities will include:
The evaluation of customer RFPs to develop responsive plans to fully satisfy the Material pricing
As a Supply Chain Proposal analyst, you will need an understanding of indentured Bills of Material,
Application of Material Adjustment Factors, (Escalation, Scrap, ECN, Design Growth and Purchase Variances) in accordance with the program strategy as defined by the Material Program Manager.
Knowledge of WBS/CLIN framework in bidding a proposal.
Ability to prepare management review documentation and the ability to clearly communicate on proposal pricing strategy / results with defined risks and opportunities.
Price analysis techniques based on review of supplier bid responses and overall proposed material pricing.
Working knowledge of FAR 15.408 contract requirements to ensure compliance.
Minimum of 4 years related work experience
Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry
Ability to analyze data (specifically using price analysis techniques to determine reasonableness of pricing)
Advanced Excel Skills
U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.
Experience working as a MPM, Subcontract Manager, Financial Analyst, or a Capture/Business Development role
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and general Supply Chain processes
Experience within a matrix organization
Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition)
Completion of Supply Chain Certification Level 4 (MPM, Subcontract Management or Procurement)
Experience working proposals from a Supply Chain or Estimating & Pricing perspective
Bachelor's Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business preferred)
Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent
