OB DESCRIPTION: The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing user interface functionality for interactive eLearning, computer-based, web delivered and/or mobile device training products. The candidate will primarily interact with User Experience designers and UI artists as well as other team members, customers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop engaging interactive user interfaces for government and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of graphic design and illustrations, as well as develop animations, interactive activities, and other media. Primary responsibilities will include technical development of functional course/content navigation, state-based UI systems, data visualizations, 3D simulation display and manipulation as well as deployment of content to multiple platforms including PC client, web-delivered and mobile. The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of their work.  Attention to detail is required for this position, as well as demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, manage time efficiently, and work in a team environment.

DESIRED SKILLS: Desired skills include experience with:
• The life cycle of design and programming of User Interface content from concept through project completion
• Strong Interactive/UX design, prototyping and mockup skills
• Illustrator, Captivate, Photoshop
• HTML, C++, C#, Javascript, XML programming
• Unity & Unreal Game engine IDEs
• Ability to take verbal direction and rapidly iterate design and functionality


EQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, web design, mobile development, game interface programming or similar field of study from an accredited college or university is required. A combination of education and work experience may be considered (4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree).
REQUIRED SKILLS: Demonstrated experience creating engaging user interface logic is required. Working experience with Adobe graphics tools (photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and/or other visual mockup tools strongly desired. Knowledge of Unity and Unreal game engines is a plus. The candidate must possess strong programming skills in C++, C#, HTML, JAVA, etc.  Solid interpersonal and communication skills are a required, including the ability to interact effectively in a team environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
