Description:Position within the RMS Configuration and Data Management organization:

Will support all aspects of the LM RMS EPDM change review and approval process, including processing Problem Reports (PRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), assist CCB Chair in preparing agendas, administrative, technical and CM reviews, and drawing and parts list release. Co-chair or independently chair CCBs as necessary.

Participate in the drawing and parts list creation, update, and delivery process. This will include validation of drawing and parts list data and change incorporation prior to submission to operations or customer delivery.

Update and maintain CM Process documentation, including Standard Procedures, Standard Work Instructions, CM Plans.

Support engineering, drafting, program teams, ILS, and customers for engineering changes and engineering change classification.

Develop BOEs (Basis of Estimates) for CM tasks. Act as Control Account Manager (CAM) or Work Package Manager (WPM) for CM work.

Will support multiple program CCBs, often high volume, requiring rapid turnaround to support production or other urgent program delivery requirements.

Provide CM review of Specifications prior to submission for delivery to customer.

Overtime may be required at times to support urgent program requirements.

This position is on site in Moorestown NJ consisting of multiple locations across a broad geographic area. Ability to travel, often on short notice, between Moorestown-based LM sites is required. Some travel to customer or other LM sites may be required.

Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a U.S. Government SECRET Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
Basic Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree (technical discipline preferred) or substantially equivalent experience in Configuration Management and engineering change management.

Ability to work as part of a team, in a self-directed manner and independently make quick, accurate decisions for engineering changes to drawings and parts lists.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Obtaining a clearance requires US citizenship.

Demonstrated background and experience (min 2-3 years) in a lead or key configuration management role with experience in change management.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in engineering drawings, parts lists, BOMs as well as standard drafting practices.

Understanding/knowledge of related disciplines, particularly familiarization with Hardware Engineering methods and processes.

Ability to conduct and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) to manage changes to hardware baselines.

Experience with Class I Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and related processes for preparing, managing, and submitting them.

Ability to interface with, and build strong relationships with, multiple levels of management and program disciplines. Demonstrated ability to interface with and work well with cross-functional teams and peers, and ability to energize the team.

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication, coordination, and planning skills. Strong presentation skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Proven or developing leadership skills including ability to manage projects, tasks, and coordinate work assignments for others. Ability to multi-task and delegate work as required.

Demonstrated high level of computer literacy in standard tools including MS Office, SharePoint.

Desired Skills:
Demonstrated experience with military Configuration & Data Management (CDM) processes, tools, and knowledge of CDM command media. Experience in the CM tools and workflow processes, as well as SharePoint, Excel, MS Access. Experience in EPDM/Windchill or similar CM workflow tool is highly desirable.

Experience providing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for costing activities (i.e. proposals).

Demonstrated Earned Value Management (EVM) experience including Work Package Management and Control Account Management (CAM) skills.
