Provides senior systems analyst and master scheduling support for the rapid materiel development, testing, and procurement of critical technologies. Provides on-site systems-level analytical support and technical assistance to a Department of Defense (DoD) program office for materiel acquisition planning, controlling, organizing, and program execution. Develops, organizes, analyzes and prepares a detailed Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using industry standard tools (e.g., MS Project and Milestone Professional) for a complex Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1C/D-level program and subordinate product offices. Candidate must have experience implementing integrated master scheduling best practices and must work with program/project managers and multiple Integrated Project Teams to capture and sequence efforts, assign resources to activities, establish duration of activities, verify schedule horizontal and vertical traceability, confirm critical path validity, conduct schedule risk analysis, update status and progress of projects, provide metrics, and maintain the schedule baseline. Provides strategic master scheduling support to synchronize activities and events between Product Managers and functional organizations. Provides interdependent sequencing of all work to identify project dependencies and critical paths to determine variances. Develop alternate schedules and forward recommendations to senior leadership for adjudication. Support meetings, working groups, and conferences with schedule analysis, reports, briefings, and minutes associated with potential and current programs. Initiates and directs technical support to program plans using industry standard tools while providing project-coordinating expertise in support of complex activities supporting the US Warfighter, across program initiatives, new business, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Project coordinating efforts include participating in defining requirements, elaborating work tasks, identifying milestones and logic relationships and providing training to junior associates.


Requires a Bachelor’s degree is a Business or Engineering/Technical field; Master’s Degree is desired. Requires 10 years’ experience in Scheduling, Weapons System Acquisition, and Program Management; familiarity with Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02. Experience developing schedules utilizing MS Project and Milestone Professional is required. Applicant must be a self-starter and be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Microsoft Office Master Certification is highly desired. 10% travel may be required. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
