Raytheon IIS/CSM is looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist to interact with a variety of customers on a daily basis, providing quick reaction support to innovative solutions. This specialist is a team player, self-motivated and able to independently prioritize tasking in a very complex and fast-moving environment.
The candidate must have strong knowledge and experience to manage all facets of Property Management, Warehouse Operations and knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Responsibilities include shipping over 1,000’s of line items monthly in a complex environment, receiving and end-user delivery, maintaining property control for 20,000+ line items, property destruction, database management, transportation, safety, and proper handling of sensitive material and maintaining audit compliance. Logistics personnel will be cross-trained in all areas of warehouse operation and will be expected to cover all areas of responsibility as well as support dynamic customer requirements. Must be familiar with locally established business policies, procedures, and public law to ensure compliance. Our operations require the specialist to work in inclement weather (Rain, Snow, Heat and Humidity) to complete our mission. Individuals will be required to lift 50 pound items unaided, obtain a DOT Medical Card, operate forklifts, obtain certification for DOT/IATA Hazardous Materials and Electrostatic Discharge. Candidates must be willing to travel to Sterling, VA on a daily basis.

Requirement Skills/Background
Candidates must have a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance;
8 or more years of Logistics Specialist related experience;
8 or more years using Microsoft Office computer applications;
8 or more years of demonstrated ability to work as a team player providing excellent customer service skills;
Must have the ability to lift 50 pound items unaided;
Must have a good driving record and ability to drive a 26ft box truck;
Must have the ability to work in inclement weather conditions (rain, snow, heat and humidity) to complete required mission;
travel to CONUS facilities may be required.

Desired Skills/Background:

NPMA Certification;
Forklift certification;
Experience using Sunflower Asset Management software;
Experience with OCONUS shipping regulations and procedures;
Experience transporting items within the Washington Metro area and across country.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
